It has two parts: Penang Island, where the capital city, George Town, is locate, and Seberang Perai on the Malay Peninsula. And like the rest of Malaysia, Penang has a tropical climate, specifically a tropical rainforest climate bordering on a tropical monsoon climate.
Penang famous street art scene has blossomed considerably since 2012, when a Lithuanian artist, Ernest Zacharevic created a series of 6 wall painting depicting local culture, inhabitants and lifestyles. They now stands as celebrated cultural landmarks of George Town, with Children on a Bicycle being one of the most photographed spots in the city center. My Journal
I spent three days in Penang, we spent much of the time with looking something for eat. Well, even we're not eating all the time, but it feels for me that we came to Penang only for the food.
Besides food, Penang also have some nice places to visit. We went to the famous
Children on a Bicycle street art and encountered a lot of them while we riding a bike exploring the city (we rent the bike for 18 RM a day).
